LEVELING, FILLING, CRUMB COAT, AND ICING TECHNIQUES

ONE DAY CLASS

In this four hour workshop, the students will learn all about, using the right tools and techniques for leveling using serrated knife, cake levelers. Filling, crumb coat, and the correct use of spatulas to achieve an even and smooth finish. Students will work on a real cake to take home.

Classes are divided into two payments: First payment (50%) is due when registering for the class. Second payment (50%) is due on the first day of class.

  • All of our classes are offered in English and Spanish.
  • Video or digital recording is not permitted in class.
  • You do not need to purchase any tools or equipment for class.
    Everything needed to participate will be provided.
  • Students will be able to take home the materials used for decorating their cakes. However, baking tools, equipments and ingredients must be purchased.
