Introduction to Baking

In this four-hour workshop, the students will learn four of the most famous and delicious cakes such as carrot cake, a super moist chocolate cake, the perfect yellow cake, and a red velvet cake. You’ll also learn how to make the perfect cream cheese frosting, American buttercream, chocolate, and mocha buttercream. These recipes will be used to create two layers of cake and cupcakes. At the end of the class, you’ll decorate cakes and cupcakes to take home.

Students will be working in groups of two. Limited space

Students will have the choice to use cake batters to make cakes and cupcakes.

You can make one single-layer 6” cake or six standard cupcakes.
