TIERED CAKE, LEVELING, FILLING, CRUMB COAT, AND ICING TECHNIQUES

During this engaging four-hour session, participants will immerse themselves in the artistry of crafting stunning cakes tailored for weddings, Sweet Sixteen, and anniversaries. Students will master the construction of a tiered cake, incorporating traditional and contemporary designs using dowels. Throughout the session, participants will refine their skill leveling cakes using specialized tools such as cake levelers. Moreover, attendees will delve into the intricacies of filling, applying crumb coats, and utilizing spatulas adeptly to achieve a flawlessly even and smooth surface. At the end of the class, attendees will get the chance to create their two-tiered cake, prepared to be showcased proudly in their homes.

Classes are divided into two payments: The first payment (50%) is due when registering for the class. The second payment (50%) is due on the first day of class.

  • All of our classes are offered in English and Spanish.
  • Video or digital recording is not permitted in class.
  • You do not need to purchase any tools or equipment for the class.
    Everything needed to participate will be provided.
  • Receive a 10% discount if you decide to purchase the tools used in class.
  • Piping & Spatula Techniques is required to take this course.
