- Royal icing is easy to color using gel icing colors; can also be thickened (with powdered sugar) or thinned (with water) for flooding
- To use: Stir well before use; keep lid on to prevent drying; add water to thin or confectioners' sugar to thicken; once opened, use within 14 days; store at room temperature
